Located in the Morono Park trails that is accessed from Second
Street in Concord. Take Route 3 to Sewalls Falls Road and turn
right onto Second Street. Park in the small parking area on the
left just before the railroad tracks or in the NH Fish and Game lot
a little further down the road on the right.
The cache is in an ammo can filled with many interesting goodies.
It is guarded by the Whispering Pines that look out over another
Merrimack River oxbow pond. There are many spooky trees in the area
and many creatures to see. It is a beautiful area - enjoy! There
are some steep banks near the pond, so please watch young children.
The trail itself is fairly even. The cache is located approximately
100 feet (a guess) off the trail under whispering pines. It is VERY
well hidden - please make sure to rehide carefully. Thanks. The
trail system is about 2 miles round trip, if you want to do the
entire trail. The cache is just under 1/2 a mile from the trail
head. It is an easy trail for hiking and cross-country skiing, etc.
Do not cross onto the State Prison Property. Please Cache In and
Carry Out. Happy Caching! dlv For a map of Morono Park:
