Geocache Description:

Located approximately 2.5 miles (4 km) northeast of Monifieth. Best approached from the North. Park at the verge of the road leading to Carlungie farm and follow the track across to the site, which is situated a little way out in a field.

Chéz Troglodyte? - Well, “souterrain” is French! However, the Carlungie souterrain or Earth House was not a dwelling (for humans or troglodytes), but a series of storage cellars – but you can read all about them at the site.

The cache was placed, and can be found, without disturbing any part of the historic site. Film canister with log and pencils.
