Geocache Description:

A drive-up history lesson

The City of Lafayette, California was founded in 1848. Find out more by visiting the related web page. Cache is quite small but easily found. Bring your pen/pencil to sign the log and read the plaque. There's a single legal parking space right at the cache, but watch for cars going by. Another one of those caches I had an idea for while out on my pet sitting rounds.
