Geocache Description:

First and easier of two caches in the Flint Brook Conservation Area in Hollis.

This area is bordered by Flint brook and the Nashua river. The terrain is gentle sloping with well traveled trails. The area can be accessed from the trailhead at the intersection of French Mill and Rideout roads. Flint Brook 2 has the same access point.

The cache is a small dark blue cookie tin, containing a log, some trinkets.

Like Flint Brook 2, this cache can be accessed by foot or by canoe on the Nashua River. It is 3 miles upsteam from the public canoe launch on Tilton St. in Nashua or 0.6 miles downstream from the launch on Depot Rd. in Hollis.
