Located on the public trails around the York and Kittery watershed protection area this cache will take you to the 1st of several ponds which make up the public water supply of these two towns.
This trail system is perfect for hiking, biking, or ATV'ing (if you have a permit) and is located at the base of Agamenticus Mountain. There is a well defined parking area with trail maps. Please heed the signs and don't block the gate. The cache is about three quarters of a mile from the parking area and is above ground so it should be available during the winter months.
