This cache in located on the south shore of "Slippery" lake. The hike in is just under 3 km/1-1.5 hours. If your an experienced mountainbiker I recomend riding into this cache. It can be ridden to in under 20 minutes. The trails are fast and technical. The elevation of this cache is 1194ft. Slippery lake is 0.5 km north of Macara lake and 1.3 km north of Ingolf.

Cache Logs

This was a very enjoyable cache. The extra coordinates for navigation were sure handy. I had taken my bike along but decided not to use it here. It was raining with slush in the raindrops. I was dressed for wet and cold so was comfortable. But with those extra clothes and the wet, rugged trail I just decided to hoof it. At a brisk pace it took 50 minutes to get to the cache, 10 minutes to find/log it and 45 minutes to hike out. ( I had parked out at the main road rather than driving in to the suggested area.) What a great playground you've got here for mountain biking. The sun finally came out while I was hiking out. It was gorgeous with the sun glistening off the wet forest.

Really liked the container. Took a pocket knife and left a carabiner watch. TFTC.

We had been looking forward to finding this cache ever since it appeared hiden in the Ontario section. It was a great day for hiking through the woods. Found the clues to be helpful because there are a lot of trails in the area. The beaver dam is very interesting. M located the garage and I must say it would be a little difficult to find after the snow falls. In our haste to get out on the trail, we forgot to bring some pins, so we TNLN. Thanks for the hike and the cache.
