This is the cache next to the first wind power station
This place is one of the most beautiful part of Bakony. This hill
is the highest hill next to the Szápár. (This is a small village in
the East Bakony.) At the top of the hill a beautiful panorama
opening all of directions. If you go from Csetény, you have to turn
right at N 47° 18,8450' E 18° 02,0320' 241 m point. This road run
to Várpalota. After approximatelly 200 m a cart road is started at
left side. You can go in this cart-road at N 47° 18,6850' E 18°
02,5930' 312 m. This point is a top of hill. You can find here a
white stone, what sign the top of hill. The cache is root of a
pine-tree next to the white stone. At the N 47° 18,7950' E 18°
01,5380' 290 m point you can find the bigest hungarian wind power
station. The generator at the top of the tower is 60 tons. The
tower is 80 m high, and the blades is 45 m long. This tower makes 5
million kWh energy per year ideal cases. Have a good hunting.
