Prying Pandora: I stopped by to check on the cache today and the final has indeed been stolen. It is with a heavy heart that I must archive this cache. CENT5 will always be one rockin' dude, but this cache rocks no more. [:(]

A tribute cache...

In March 2005, a newbie cacher by the name of CENT5 had a crazy idea... create a contest to take a bunch of geocachers he'd never met on a whirlwind trip to Alaska with some passes he had from his position at Alaska Airlines. Thus the Great Alaska Cache and Dash was born.

In the 7 months since then, CENT5 has jumped into geocaching with both feet. He has lent his special touch to many group cache outings and created several outstanding caches of his own.

The lucky 2005 Alaska Cache and Dash team members were Lowrider71, GeoZuk, GlobalGirl, CENT5, Moun10Bike, Prying Pandora, reino, LindaLu, and El Santo. On Sept 20, they embarked on a 3-day cachepalooza that ranks among the most fun experiences of my entire life.

CENT5 is a modest fellow and will likely be a wee bit uncomfortable with all this fuss, but I had to place this cache to thank him for an unforgettable trip.
