This cache is hidden along the edge of Kaiser Cove. This lake is
a Model Mariners Boating Pond and is the home of the Fremont Model
Mariners Club. I have heard the sound of the model boats from my
house and I came over to see them running there boats around the
lake.
The cache is hidden just around the corner from where the
modelers set up so the cache can be found without being muggled by
the club members, but you still get a great view of the boat races
on the lake.
The coordinates where checked using two GPSr's and were allowed
to settle until they both matched. Initial contents include the
Chipper the Chipmunk Travel Bug and Steve Martin Buttons #846, 847
and 849.
