A drive by cache in a popular spot well known to kiwis driving down Highway One. For many years the prominent object featuring in the cache was covered in Cookie-Time cookies sadly a new paint job has changed all this (hence the name of the cache). The new owners of the cache site have been informed of the cache, stealth is required. You do not have to go inside the fencing to find this cache. See Attributes.
My six year old son suggested hiding a cache here as we drive past this site numerous times a year and it is a favourite stopping place for a quick bite to eat and a little play. The enterprising owners of the cafe and petrol station have very cleverely combined perservation and business in this eye catching site. The pies are great too! A fix of +/-5m
The Cache is a 500ml Screw Top Canister which used to hold a grenade On Placement contained: Logbook and Pencil and an assortment of small items
