A Walk Down Memory Lane
It only seems like
yesterday... This is a common phrase that we use when we start
digging through memories. It's always great to go back home and see
the things from your childhood. I placed this cache a stones throw
from where I grew up. As kids we played here and in the backyard or
this location. This little hill has provided many hours of fun. It
was our test track to many childhood inventions. I think some of
the ideas were just from watching too much TV. My favorite idea was
to sit on my skateboard and ride it to the bottom of the hill.
Stopping at the bottom or when a car was coming always seemed to be
the challenge. I think just about every tree around here has felt
us in its boughs.
Growing up next
door to a location like this dispelled any ideas of horror. We
never saw anything walk away from here. We never heard any unusual
sounds or voices. Nothing happened when the moon was full. It was a
field of dreams and memories that still lives on today.
I've learned a lot
about time and where it goes. It doesn't take long to realize that
time flies by. Before you know it we have lived our life. We have
lived and we have learned. I've learned to take the time I have and
use it as best I can. We only have a short time here. Let's make
the most out of it by creating as many memories as
possible.
Oh yeah, this
location is the oldest (pre Civil War) one around the area. It is
still used on special occasions, and it's beautiful on the inside
too.
The cache
container has be moved to a new location within the same area and
is now a multi-cache. The above coords will bring you to a spot
where you can find a number to help you figure for the new coords
to the cache.
The number you found less 1261 for the last 3 digist for the North
coords.
The number
you found less 1679 for the last 3 digits for the West
coords
Enjoy your trip
