Let's talk about the name of this series of caches, "Road Apples". Some of you may know what this means, others will realize what they are once they start their trip around the island.
We have set up several caches that you can find by walking, riding a bike or using horses. All of these caches are located along the 8.2 mile long road that follows Mackinac Island's shore, M-185. It's a bit of a trip so we are making it worth your time by placing a series of caches for you to find. They are setup to walk counter clockwise around the island or when you walk off the boat docks turn right.
This cache is within 10 feet of the road. There is a FTF prize of a Cyclops & Son geocoin and has many other goodies within the ammo can. This is a 4 stage multi cache and has a beautiful view all the way around. Have fun doing this cache and injoy the island while you are here.
