lokomotiver, bl.a. S740-maskinen holdt til her.
at finde cachen.
gemmestedet.
Rungsted Kyst station was opened in 1897 when Kystbanens
("Coastal Railway") was inaugurated. The station was the terminus
for the original double track railway from Østerbro in Copenhagen
and a depot for two locomotives was built.
The depot was used for Kystbanen locomotives, including the
S740. A turntable was also built.
Today the depot houses the steam locomotive base of
Nordsjællands Veterantog
("Heritage Railway of North Zealand"), and work is taking place on
Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, during which times
curious visitors are welcome to come inside.
Important: It is not necessary to get close to the railway
tracks in order to find the cache. There are often trains running
on the railway so please keep your distance to the tracks!
Please respect that the cache is located on private property
with permission from the owner. You are welcome to have a look
around but please do not climb onto any vehicles that may be in the
area.
Please replace the cache as high as possible in the hiding
place.
