Undoubtedly one of the best caches you will ever visit. The vista's and scenery are incredible! offering a full 180+ degree look of Massabesic and the surrounding area. I highly recommend bringing along a small picnic so you can fully enjoy this area without feeling rushed. The walk to the cache is a nice one as you walk down forest roads, through dense pine forests to the natural stone walkway along the route to the cache. Mushrooms seem to be everywhere if your into them! we even escorted and elderly couple out with buckets and aprons full of them. The Cache is well hidden due to the demise of other caches. but we are confident in the abilitys of our fellow geo-cachers. We are sure you will enjoy the walk, the view, and the cache. If time is of no importance, geocachers should visit the shoreline - where well worn paths bring you to small private areas where rocks meet water. Great for couples :) This Cache starts off with some great treasure. Please Trade up, Trade equal or dont trade to keep this cache worthy of its location! *PLEASE READ* This is the 4th or 5th cache that's been placed here. The beautiful view does attract non-cachers (muggles) as well. Teens and others sometimes party at the top at night. IT IS ABSOLUTELY IMPERRATIVE that the cache is placed back where it was found...FAR BACK under the rock, NOT IN THE OPEN OR VISISBLE and COMPLETELY COVERED. If children are placing it back, ensure that they've done a good job before leaving. :) When "going for" the cache, do so when muggles aren't around. If they are, wait patiently to get the cache, they will move on. if not, ENJOY THE VIEW for a while :) then GO FOR IT! :) The same applies when hiding the cache. Wait, then hide. This new cache is chocked full with items, mostly geared towards kids to make it fun for them. You don't have to trade, take something for the kids as a reward for the find. Take only a few, others will be following you. Don't leave paper. No-one wants coupon! if you want to pass a message or something of that nature, log it or place it in the bag with the log:) Thanks folks, for making this one of the best caches in the area.
