Geocache Description:

Once a popular watering spring for local residence. There is a parking area for 3 or 4 cars but is along the busy 92 hwy. so be careful.

A local paper article states: For years, Lombardi Spring near Crystal Springs Reservoir was a popular watering hole for motorists on Highway 92. "Cars used to line up for 20 minutes and longer to get there". "There was something magical about that water," said Bruni, a highway patrol dispatcher, who told us he used go late at night to avoid traffic and fill up water containers for his family. The reason for the difficulty level of 3 is because if you miss it the first time around it is a long way back to it again.

Bring a pen as the cache is too small to hold one.
