Another downtown cache and part of the Discovery Walk tour.
At the posted co-ordinates, you will find a plaque. On the plaque
you will find the year that the Olympic Gardens was opened. Add to
that, the number of nearby giant woodpeckers. Divide the total by
1,000 and add the result to the middle digit of each of the
following meaningless co-ordinates, to determine the location of
the cache:
43.36.482 N
79.21.025 W
Not a soul around when we were there, but imagine that it could be
busy at times.
Despite being downtown and in the shadow of the world’s
tallest building, GPS signal should be quite good.
No writing instrument, so please bring your own to sign the
logsheet.
