Geocache Description:

This cache replaces the cache originally hidden here by Beakers Bunch during January 2005.

The cache is located at Alum Cliffs, a spectacular Gorge in the Gog Range near Mole Creek. The great view from the lookout comes at the end of an 800m walk from the carpark.
The area is one that Team Tiges had lined up for a cache just before Beakers Bunch placed theirs. So of course, we were more than happy to replace it with a new one! ;)

The area is well maintained, with information placed along the walk, there's also a nice seat at the end where you can sit and take in the view.

The cache container is a Team Tiges PVC v1.5, and at the time of placing contained a variety of stuff, like a fire truck, a scented candle, a tape and some.... er.... misc.

The name for the cache comes from the name given to the area by it's indigenous custodians "Tulampanga" which means, you guessed it "Red Ochre Hill".

*NOTE - If would seem that this is a tough area to get a good lock. It's suggested that people take with them the additional coords attached to the log entries on this cache, and of course, the hint.
