Geocache Description:

Yes! Another in the “Ways to Get To Some New Caches” Series!

Remember? We ‘Scurried’, Hurried’, ‘Traveled’, ‘Cruised’, ‘Sped’ and ‘Shuffled’ to some others. Gosh! I hope we don’t run out of alliterative* ‘motion’ verbs.
* Look it up.

This is a Single Stage, easy to solve Mystery Cache, .

When we put it out, this spot was just a small Charlotte County Park in South Gulf Cove used primarily as a Boat Launching Ramp, however it has recently been developed into a GREAT AREA! Now it has a Picnic Pavilion, a Play Area, Rest Room as well as the new dock from which you can watch the boating activity.

The pictures show the areas where we spend our time … Florida and Vermont.

Whilst you ponder where the "real location" might be, please look at the individual pictures in the Gallery. They will REALLY help! wink

When you solve the “mystery” part of this cache, you can use the Checker to find out exactly where to find the Cache Container.

(N 26° 52.NNN W 82° 14.WWW)

The checker will verify your coordinates and give you more scecific info to find the Final Cache container which may be holding a few small items for your trading enjoyment.

However … We must warn you that this cache was placed using a

Genuine TATES Compass. !!! (See Note)

This is a “Park and Pay” area if you wish to stay around for a while, but there is side-of-road-and-walk-in space for “quick-cachers".

If the area is active, use a lot of Geo-Stealth to prevent attracting undue attention. (Look “Nautical” !!)
BUT … in any case, please use all reasonable care and/or stealth if people are around and try to put everything back as you found it!.

Thanks!!

An Historical Note: The Tate Manufacturing Company made compasses that were so inaccurate and unreliable that it was widely said that …

“ He who has a Tates is lost !!!”

Congratulations to dajoneses for the First To Find!
According to the "official" records they are now a TWO Tates family!!!
Does this mean they will be TWICE as lost or HALF as lost??
