Geocache Description:

"Faery Tale" is another mountain cache celebrating vistas worth visiting. . .often.

A cache for all seasons. Come enjoy the many faces of this magical spot. Spring, summer, or fall the ratings are correct. In winter, Ney Springs Road may be snow covered and it is a two mile trek from Castle Lake Road. The ratings would have to be adjusted up if you need snowshoes or skis.

Once you arrive, the first time, you will know why this is a spot worth visiting in different seasons. In November, when it was placed, the colors are stunning. Spring, the water will be raging.

Helpful coordinates:
Park - 41 15.714 122 19.958
Hiking trail - 41 15.713 122 20.076

The last .5 miles of road get a bit bumpy and a "Prius" should stop .5 miles from the cache (1.5 miles from Castle Lake road). With reasonably good road clearance, you can drive to the above coordinates. There is not a turn around spot adjacent the cache. Stay right at 1.5 miles from CL road. No need to travel on private roads or cross gated paths.

The Hiking trail coordinates above are for those that prefer to hike a two mile trail to Faery Tale. Others can drive to within .2 miles.

Coordinates are only accurate to 50 feet. Canyon and trees play a role here. See hints if you like. Ammo can has FTF bandana and other traditional MtnMike stuff.

Pictures!!! Please share your favorite "Faery Tale" photos when you post your find.
