You will see some stunning views if the clouds are not too low. If
you are coming up The Staircase, then grab "Devils Delight" on your
way to the Big Fella further up the hill.
The views are truely spectacular and the rocks are fun to climb.
Don't go too near the edge... it's a long way down!
The cache is a small plastic Sistema container so only small
swaps will fit. There is a logsheet and small pencil provided.
Please be careful when retrieving and replacing the cache
because there are muggles even in this remote area. Two walked past
while I was placing the cache! Please make sure the container is
well hidden before you leave so it does not get muggled.

AP found it : my son (aged 7) and I walked up Staircase Spur on the 26th and picked up this cache on the way to the top. It was hard to find - searched for 10 minutes or so.
Took: nothing

going to put this down to exhaustion from hauling my pack up the staircase. guess i just couldn't focus. dissapointed, heck yeah. won't be by this way for awhile.

Found this while climbing Bogong with the geoclan. This took a while to locate as my GPSr was approx 4m from GZ, and there was ALOT of rocks to lift and search through. Also, I had to keep an eye on my 2 young blokes to ensure they kept in a safe area. Suffice to say, it was eventually located and we were able to enjoy the magnificent view into the valley. Thanks again for the incentive to do this climb again. Took Nil, Left: World Geocoin.

Found with Bushtrakker, D J Geodog Rascal and Marcus Vitrius whilst heading up Bogong. After leaving Mountain Creek earlier that morning, we proceeded to Bivouac Hut for a brief stop, before continuing up above the treeline. The location was particularly eerie today with all the fog and mist around, and the breeze added considerably to the wind chill factor. We all grabbed a bite to eat in the shelter of the spur near GZ to escape the cold, before leaving the packs and following our many electronic arrows towards the prize.It's amazing how quickly containers can be located when a swarm of sistema-hungry geocachers descends on a rocky outcrop! After little more than a minute Bushtrakker located the cache, which was then passed around for all to sign the log. The whole time Derringer was surveying the scene from above, with an amused look on his face. After the cache was replaced it was time to return to the packs and commence the final ascent of the Big Fella. TNLN. Thanks for the great cache!
