Less than 2 miles from the State Capitol, this cache is a serene getaway from the urban clutter.
Container is a camo-taped Tupperware® container containing standard trinkets of considerable monetary value-NOT! Park your vehicle at N43.12.123 W071.33.874 and follow trail straight ahead for a few hundred feet before bushwhacking left 0.4 mi. to the cache, traveling over boulder fields and hardwood forest. Pulleys hung high on trees, and cleared areas on my topo are evidence of a previous ski slope on the southern portion of this hill? Potential distant views are obscured by overgrowth, but this locale is a nice hike through intresting terrain.
Since placing the cache 3 years ago, the former owner of the land donated this beautiful property to the City of Concord, and this parcel is now called Winant Park, in honor of the donor. Many different trails now lead you to the cache, and parking is now available off of Fisk Road.
