Esta cache é a original do “Penedo do Lexim” –
depois de uma semana num vulcão extinto da antiga Cintura Vulcânica
da Grande Lisboa, a cache foi transformada em Earthcache, e o
recipiente original quis ir para um local onde pudesse repousar,
gozando de uma vista desafogada.
This is the original “Penedo do Lexim” cache –
after a week in an extinct volcano of the former Great Lisbon
Volcanic Belt, the cache was transformed in an Earthcache, and the
original container expressed is will of resting, while enjoying an
open and peaceful scenic view.
Que melhor sítio então que a região saloia a Norte da Serra de
Sintra? Uma bucólica área de colinas verdes, de floresta, de campos
cultivados, pequenas quintas, antigas povoações cuja memória se
perde no tempo, pitorescas, com as suas pequenas casas e ruas, os
seus versos (aproveitem e visitem Gouveia, a aldeia em verso, onde
todas as ruas têm um verso associado), os seus moinhos, os seus
burros e cavalos, o seu mexilhão e lapas, terra de bom marisco e de
bom queijo, de boa fruta, de um mar de águas bravas e geladas que
se pode admirar do alto de um arriba?
What a better place than the region North of Sintra’s
Mountains? A peaceful green sloped area of forest, little farms,
cultivated fields, ancient villages which origin is lost in time,
picturesque, with their tiny houses and streets, their rhymes (go
visit Gouveia, where every street have a poem), of windmills, of
donkeys and horses, of sea-mussels, of fine shellfish food and
cheese, of good fruits, of a furious and freezing water sea one can
admire from the top of a cliff?
