Batter UP!

Welcome to Old Settlers Express Baseball (OSE). Old Settlers Park in Round Rock is the home of OSE Baseball, a competitive baseball league for ages 11 and up. There are 20 ball fields in the complex, 5 of those are specific to OSE league play; so there’s a ton of baseball happening here. Come on out and watch a game, you can visit the OSE website at www.expressbaseball.org to see when games are being played (it’s free to come out and watch).

Note:
ULTRA-STEALTH is required during your search, acquisition, and re-placement, to avoid detection! Cache placement is in the highest traffic area of the complex. A funny thing about Baseball Muggles…they are easily distracted from watching their games when they notice folks who appear to be un-able to find what they are looking for. The Baseball Muggle will undoubtedly meander your way to try and “help” direct you to the appropriate field. Did I mention placement is in a high traffic area? Field maintenance crews are frequently at the complex, so even if there is no ballgame, stealth is still a high priority!

Now for the fine print…
* We have permission for cache placement from OSE.
* OSE is in Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, meaning that you can only search from 6 am - 12 midnight.
* Again…you’re in a park; so even though your dog loves to watch baseball, you can’t bring the pooch. This includes Miss Vivi the GeoNewf, even though she is bigger than some of the kids playing baseball…
* This cache is barely big enough for a log, so be sure and bring your pencil.
* HiDude_98 complained that he started sweating running across the entire complex to FTF the cache! So to prevent any unnecessary perspiration…Parking is at n30 32.502 w097 37.173. You can get to parking from either side of Alen Loop off of CR113/3406 or off Harrell Pkwy (Dell Diamond winding road into Old Settlers Park).
