The Manzanita Gate geocache is a camouflaged ammo can. An easy
find, it is hidden in the bracken just inside the gate of Manzanita
Park. Park at the gate to seek this cache. Other caches are located
up the hill in the Park. The gate is open when a scheduled event is
taking place. If the gate is closed, park and enter through the
opening on the right side.
The Park is open from dawn to dusk even though the
gate may be closed.

FTF - At placement (Christmas Day 2005) the cache
contained The Petoskey Stones Sig Item #206, a tracking item
similar to a Travel Bug.
This particular sig item was, at that time, the Number 1 ranked sig
item for most miles traveled at nearly 6000 miles.
Congratulations to SurveyVest All hail the
FTF!
