Oxbow Hide Traditional Geocache

Isonzo Karst: Walked out today. River's up. This sure is a beautiful spot.

Someone had a fire ring on the bank at the oxbow. Must have found the decon. I found some tether and a cache goodie, no cache. Good bye and thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

A decon on a Withlacoochee oxbow. I got intrigued looking at an aerial view. About 3 miles from River Road, a bit over .4 in bushwhacking to the river. Hike or bike to the bushwhacking part. Boat access from the river also, there's a ramp at the River Road bridge.

Green Swamp West is closed to recreational users during the hunting seasons EXCEPT for hiking on the Florida Trail, and during small game it's open and rec users can drive in at the River Road entry.
