Geocache Description:

Uphill walk on woodland tracks. Can be muddy in places.

This cache his been hidden at the northerly point of Tarsappie Hill, giving views from the Friarton bridge right over Moncrieffe Island in the centre of the River Tay, and across Perth to the hills beyond. One of several caches hidden in Tarsappie and Moncrieffe Hills, making a great place for a day out, a popular dog walking area and plenty of space for pic-nics. This woodland is a mixture of both evergreen and deciduous trees, and there is an abundance of berries to be collected in the late summer. Car Parking at coords N56.21.460/W003.22.347. ********** Letterboxing. In the cache box you will find a Rubber Stamp and an Ink Pad - these are the signature for this cache. Please take an imprint of the stamp for yourself if you wish to collect them in your own personal notebook. Then leave an imprint of your own personal stamp in the cache log book (if you have one), or simply sign as a traditional log book. Stamp and Ink remains part of the cache but it might be an idea to carry your own Ink Pad in case the one provided should dry up. ********** Thank you to Big Tree Country and Woodland Trust Scotland for permission for this cache.
