Geocache Description:

Park near the giant ball at a small trailhead lot. PLEASE NOTE: (4-16-07) There is NO GATE on the trailhead--it's an opening in the fence leading WEST along the edge of the water. Look for the opening just south of a sometimes locked private gate (somebody's driveway). There's another trailhead heading North with other caches. So don't be fooled by all these gates. Expect a bit of mud or water near the cache during runoff.

This cache will give give you a starting place on a new trail west of Farmington and just a bit of exercise. It's a good place for horses, bicycles and birdwatching. Mailbox and I got a kick out of the frogs here in September. I never knew frogs could make that strange squeeky little scream when they leap into the water. I want to go back to hear them in the spring. Frogs in this area have a reputation for multiple limbs. No one knows why.

Please cover as found so the cover doesn't blow away. Muggles are around.
