Clean Up Australia Day is Sunday March 5 2006!

This CITO Event Cache is to record the participation of Australian Geocachers in this annual nationwide event.

To successfully log this cache you need to:
  • Visit http://www.cleanup.com.au
  • Seach for your suburb, postcode or local council area
  • Find a local Clean Up Australia Day location
  • Head down there on Sunday March 5 and help Clean Up Australia!
  • Return to log your participation on the day!

This is an ideal opportunity to take the time to do some cache maintenance on your local caches, and in some cases, make sure your caches don't get mistaken for trash by the Clean Up enthusiasts!

This year's published coordinates are for a Clean Up Australia Day site at The Warmies, Newport. For those that have done Out On The Point, you'll find this may be a very good spot to easily make a difference picking up the trash that the Yarra has deposited on the breakwall over time.
