Cachen tilhører
serien ”Århus omkranset af skov” og er placeret i en af
de nye skove, som Århus Kommune har anlagt i årene 1988-2002.

Denne skov er
plantet i 1990 på tidligere landbrugsjord som en udvidelse af
Vilhelmsborg Skov. Skoven er domineret af bøg og eg,
men indeholder også en rødgranbevoksning. Skoven er plantet
som kompensation for den del af den gamle skov, der blev ryddet til
omfartsvejen.

This cache belongs
to the series Ӂrhus omkranset af
skov” (Århus surrounded by forests) and is placed in one of the new
forests planted by Århus Municipality in the years
1988-2002.
This forest is
planted 1990 on former farm land as
enlargement of Vilhelmsborg Forest. The new forest is dominated by
beech and oak , but contains also a
plantation of Norway Spruce. The forest is
planted as a compensation for the part of the old forest
removed for the by-pass road.
The cache lid
contains information, which could lead to
”Den ukendte skov” (The unknown forest). To find
the coordinates of this cache, you must know the value of
5 constants a-e. In the lid is written some of
the constants and names of caches, where the remaining constants could be
found.
