Mollerup skov er plantet 1993-1997 på tidligere landbrugsjord. En del af arealet er holdt ubevokset for naturlig tilgroning. Skoven er domineret af eg og bøg, men indeholder også ask og fuglekirsebær. Skovbrynene består af mange forskellige træer og buske, som efterhånden vil sprede sig ind under især egeskoven og derved skabe større variation.
Du får brug for et pejlekompas. De opgivne koordinaterne fører til et jerndæksel. Herfra skal du finde retningen v° til Lisbjerg forbrændingsanlæg (skorstenen) afrundet til nærmeste tal deleligt med 10.
Cachens koordinater er: N 56° x’ E 10° y’ hvor x= (11784+v)/1000 og y=(11756+v)/1000.
Cachen er en 1,8 l Rubbermaidbox (20x15x10cm) og indeholder fra start: Stashnote, FFC, SFC, ziplock-pose med logbog, blyant og blyantspidser (må ikke byttes), origami-papir, badekarsfisk, gekko, modelbil, trick-golfbold, gazelle

This cache belongs to the series ”Århus omkranset af skov” (Århus surrounded by forests) and is placed in one of the new forests planted by Århus Municipality in the years 1988-2002 according to a plan with this name.
This forest is planted 1993-1997 on former farm land. Part of the area is kept unplanted for natural succession. The new forest is dominated by beech and oak, but contains also plantations of ash and cherry. The edges of the wood are composed by many different species of trees and bushes, that will spread under the regular stands and create greater variation.
You will need a bearing compass to find the coordinates of the cache. The published coordinates points to an iron cover. From there find the direction v° to the chimney of Lisbjerg incenerator plant, rounded to nearest multiplum of 10.
The cache position is: N 56° x’ E 10° y’ where x=(11784+v)/1000 and y=(11756+v)/1000.
