This cache has been archived.

JoesBar: I figure it's time to open this area to a new hide. I hope all that found this cache enjoyed themselves. BTW, while walking to retrive this cache I spotted four deer. Very interesting for the area.

Geocache Description:

Cleveland Heights is a city that prides itself on diversity and acceptance. Many residents are also concious of issues that affect our environment. This was very prevalent back in the 1970s when nuclear power was a hot topic. This city took a stand and declared itself, "A nuclear free zone." I have no idea what that means, but that statement has been on their "welcome" signs ever since. So, while seeking this cache, you are safe from all things nuclear.

There are two parking choices for this cache. You can park at Lower Shaker Lake, 41°29.428 N, 081°34.944 W. and cross Coventry Rd. If you walk along the south side of the woods,(Fairhill Blvd) you will find a path that takes you to the cache. Approach from the east/south.

If you wish to risk getting your feet wet, you can park on Demington Rd, 41° 29.509 N, 081° 35.095 W. This approach is from the north. You will have to cross a creek.
