PRAKTISK INFO:
Turen kan afholdes alle dage. Turen er vel ca 3-4 km lang og giver et godt overblik hvordan faciliteterne og omgivelserne på Aalborg Universitet ser ud.
TUREN:
Første gang den nordjyske offentlighed hørte om universitetstanken var i 1959, da rektor for Aalborghus Gymnasium, Carl Willum Hansen,luftede ideen på et møde i Rotary.
Der skulle dog gå hele 15 år med stor folkelig og lokalpolitisk aktivitet, før Aalborg Universitetscenter (AUC) i 1974 kunne slå dørene op for de første studerende.
Aalborg Universitetscenter blev til Aalborg Universitet (AAU) og tilbyder i dag mere end 60 uddannelser og specialiseringer indenfor humaniora, samfunds-, ingeniør- og naturvidenskab.
Du vil nu komme på en rundtur som viser de mest attraktive seværdigheder på hver af de tre fakulteter. Den første attraktion på denne cache finder du lige efter parkering af bilen som kanforetages på den tilstødende parkeringsplads.
På selve startkoordinatet ser du den kendte indgang til Aalborg Universitet, også kaldet "Stjerneporten" i nærheden af dette "kunstværk" finder du en informationstavle som indeholder et kort over hele campus
På kortet skal du notere ned i hvilken adresse Institut for Datalogi har. Oversæt det 8. bogstav (kald det R) og det næst sidste bogstav i vejnavnet til det tal det er i alfabetet og kald tallet S. A er nu tallet RS.
Når du har noteret de nødvendige informationer fra informationstavlen kan jagten fortsætte mod næste destination:

Du bevæger dig nu hovedsageligt indenfor det samfundsvidenskabelige fakultets område.
Når du er kommet frem til det næste waypoint, kan der hvis tiden og vejret tillader det gøres et kort holdt og nydes lidt mad eller forfriskninger, samtidigt med at man kigger lidt på udsigten og omgivelserne hvor det tit vrimler med "fugle".
Dette sted kaldes Klingenberg-søen, og det er her det berømte Trans-Klingenbergske gummibådsvæddeløb, også kaldet Boat Race, der afholdes i september måned for nye og gamle studerende finder sted. Eftersigende skulle søens bund være fuld af alskens cykler, ølflasker og gamle forliste gummibåde 
.
For at komme videre til næste destination skal du notere navnet på det skilt der giver navnet på den restaurant, hvor du kan købe lidt mad til turen. Du skal nu løse følgende mysterie for at finde de næste koordinater:
Navnet består af B ord på i alt C bogstaver. Noter nu hvad det B*C'de bogstav i alfabetet er, og kald det D.

Når dette lille regnestykke er klaret kan du begynde at bevæge dig over mod det næste stop på denne sightseing ved Aalborg Universitet. Den næste ledetråd kan findes ved en skulptur som befinder sig i nærheden af indgangen til en bygning, hvis tag har en lighed med Aalborg Lufthavn 
.
Bygningen blev præmieret et år, noter dig dette år og kald det E (kun de to sidste cifre), noter også navnet på kunstneren af skulpturen.

På din vej over mod næste stop passerer du det humanistiske fakultet, og skal krydse en større og til tider ret befærdet vej. Har du børnene med eller vil du bare gerne undgå dette kan du finde en tunnel (ca. N57 00.825 E9 58.988).
Når du er nået frem til dette waypoint er du kommet over på det teknisk-naturvidenskabelige fakultet, hvor man kan finde verdens nok lavestkredsende satellit, den kan ses i bygning 7A, hvis man lige sætter hovedet indenfor dørene på en hverdag (ellers kan man se lidt gennem vinduerne). I samme bygning kan man, hvis man tør, besøge bygningsbetjenten aka "sheriffen". På de udregnede koordinater fra sidste waypoint, kan du desuden finde en metalskulptur med F tykke mænd/dværge.

The tour can be taken any day, and it will take you to the most attractive places around Aalborg University.
THE TOUR:
The first time the public of the northern part of Denmark heard about the thought of having a university was in 1959, and it was the principal of Aalborghus Gymnasium Carl Willum Hansen who spoke about this idea. But not until 1974 the Aalborg University Center (AUC) opened its doors for the first students. Aalborg University Center became Aalborg University (AAU) and now offers more than 60 different educations in humanities, social studies, and natural science. You are about to take a trip which will show you the most attractive sights on each of these three faculties.
The first attraction on this cache can be found right after parking your car, which can be done on the parking area near the start coordinates.
On the start coordinate you can see the locally wellknown entrance to Aalborg University, also known as "Stjerneporten". Close to this work of art you can find an infoboard which contains a map over the entire campus. On this map you must find the address of "Institut for Datalogi/Department of Computer Science" and translate the 8th letter (call this R) and next to last letter (not number) in the address to its corresponding number in the alphabet (e.g c=3), call this S. Now A is the number RS.
When this is done the hunt continues towards the next location:

You are now inside the faculty of social sciences area. When you have reached the next location, you can if you like, enjoy some food or refreshments while you take a look at the view and the surroundings. Watch out, "birds" might be there. This place is called "Klingenberg-søen", and this is the place where the famous "Trans-Klingenbergske rubber boat race is held each september.
Some sources say that the lake is filled with bikes, bottles and punctured rubber boats from the earlier races .
To get to the next location you must write down the name on the sign that tells you the name of the restaurant where you can buy some food for you trip. Now you must solve the following puzzle:
The name of the restaurant is in B words and C letters, write down what B*C is and call it D, find then what the D'th letter in the alphabet is and use it in the following:

When you have done this you can start moving towards the next location. When you are there you must write down what year (last two digits) the building won an award prize and call this E. Also note the name of the artist of the sculpture near the entrance:

On your way to the next stop you pass the faculty of humanities, and you must cross a heavily trafficked road. If you like you can use the tunnel near N57 00.825 E9 58.988.
When you have reached the next location you are now at the faculty of natural science. Here you can find a low orbitting satellite in building 7A.
On the coordinates given you can find a metal sculpture with a number of fat men/dwarves. Write down the number and call it F.
Now you are almost at the treasury, next location is the cache itself
You will now need all the information you have gathered on your hunt.
