An article in the San Jose Mercury News (1/25/06) gave me the idea for a Stanford-located companion cache to my Historical Palo Alto caches. It takes you to the second oldest structure in the Palo Alto - Stanford area along with an obscure event lasting 9 years following the death of Leland Stanford Jr. Rather than spoil the surprise, you can find out for yourself what this location is all about.
The easiest way to this place is to park in the vicinity of the Childrens Health Council located on Clark Way (an extension of Arboretum Road as it intersects Sand Hill Road north of the Stanford Shopping Center near the Nordstrum store.
This micro is a film canister containing only a log.
