Franklin Park has had a lot of the trees and underbrush stripped
away in the past year. It appears that Metro Parks is trying to
open up the wooded area to reduce the vagrant activity.
Particularly with the school so close to the area.
The park has had a number of caches in the past but they have all
been muggled for one reason or another. So I thought I'd try again.
This is a multi-cache, now with only one waypoint. The above
cordinates are now bogus. DO NOT USE THEM. The coordinates for the
waypoint are:
N 47* 14.941; W 122* 28.920.
The coordinates for the final cache are:
N 47* 14.YYY; W 122* 28.ZZZ.
The first set of numbers at the WP are YYY, the second set are
ZZZ.
The final cache is a small plastic Thermos jar with a couple of
items in it. There was not enough room for a pen so be sure to
bring your own. Also, make sure you put the cap on tight. You may
have to jam it down to screw it on right.
There can also be a number of muggles in the area so be discreet.
