Geocache Description:

A great spot for views back towards the capitol of Wales

This Micro cache may be accessed from both the Cardiff and the Penarth end of the bay.

A great place for a stroll. But dress warm in the winter it can be bitterly cold here.

Interesting migrant birds can often be spotted here.

You will need (at the time of posting) a minimum of 50p (winter) or £1(summer)for the car park if you decide to park at the Penarth or Lock end of the barrage. The barrage may now as of 2008 be accessed from both ends. The Cardiff end starts near to the white Norwegian Church.

This is busy place with lots of muggles about most of the time - be discreet or visit early or late afternoon.

Do keep an eye out for people on the water too! I may be watching you - as I am often to be found bobbing about in a boat near here. Give me a wave!

Open 10am to 4:00pm in the winter and 10am to 8pm in the summer.

Please take care to leave the cache site neat and tidy - as if no one had visited it.
