The cache itself is a rubbermaid container wrapped in camo tape and is loaded with traditional goodies. Located at the Juniper Rock Overlook, the view provides a vast panorama of the Marengo River valley and the rocky peaks across. Pack a lunch, kick back and enjoy a stunning vista!
Please park at the designated NCT parking area along Forest Road 202 near Grand View. I'm listing this one as winter friendly. We placed it in January and snowshoed in without any difficulties but please be prepared if trying to find in the winter. Also, while you're here, check out the cache just a little further down the trail at the Swedish Settlement!
