Westchester County is way overdue for some Geocaching
Events.
This event is a Happy Hour Event at a local Bar/Restaurant so
come stop by for a drink or two or twelve [just don’t drink and
drive : ) ]. We will have a log that must be signed by all
attendees in order to log the find AFTER the event and the usual
event characteristics apply: bring TB’s and Geocoins to trade,
caching stories, bring a newbie or experienced cacher with you,
etc.
Start Time: 6:00pm
End Time: ???
(we will probably be there until at least 8:00pm depending on
the turnout – I’ve been at Happy Hours with people and have gotten
home by 9 but also by 4am...so, we’ll see how things go)
Suggestions / Points to Keep in Mind:
·This is a Happy Hour at a bar...I would suggest not bringing
kids as I have never seen any hanging out in the bar area (we’ll
try to make a kid-friendly event next time around).
·There’s no dress code, but most people are in business casual
attire...jeans with shoes and polo is perfectly fine...you'll see
sneakers sometimes...use your judgment.
·Parking is available on the street (if you’re lucky to find a
spot) but there are lots across the street or up the road a little
(meters/hourly rates). Email me if you need specifics on
parking.
·Coordinates are approximate as GPS jumps around a lot in this
area. Use the clue if needed as it provides the name and address of
the location.
·Please Write a Note for the cache if you will attend as it will
help with any plans we may have for the night.
·Bring cash or credit cards – This is a pay as you order your
drinks/food event. Restaurant usually has two complimentary hot
food trays during Happy Hour.
