Located at the Akatarawa Saddle, at the top of the Akatarawa
Road.
Head to the co-ordinates S: 40 56.920 E: 175 06.490 .
You will arrive at large ground which can be used as a car park.
Head up the old logging road north east of the car park. You can
either park your car & walk (for about 5-10 minutes) or
mountain cycle, but if your car is 4WD and doesn't mind being being
handled by a few branches, you can drive (4WD vehicles
only).
When your GPS says you are getting close to the cache, please note
you cannot find it by staying on the path.
The cache is a painted green 2-litre Sistema container that is
clearly marked.
