This is at the part of the lake that used to be part of the Big Chip River. Ox Bow lake if you will!
this is an area where many kid's would play Tag,Hide & Seek and Army Wars. Peanut Butter sandwiches and lake water (AHHH) were lunch. Treat's were home made cookies wrapped up in tin foil1
Enjoy the cache, walk south and west and enjoy the floodplain. this area used to be the old river bottom.
