Micro in a nice neighborhood park at the edge of the foothills.
Basking Ridge is a relatively new neighborhood between Coyote Creek and the east foothills, south of Silicon Valley Blvd. In the heart of it is a small city park that combines the facilities of an urban park with the undeveloped hillsides of an open space park. This cache is in the park. It requires almost no bushwhacking. This park is usually not crowded, but it's also not deserted. Watch out for muggles. While you're in this neighborhood, check out the nearby cache: Basking on the Ridge (multi). You're also not far from the Coyote Creek Trail and all its caches. Update 4/21/09: This cache used to be a full-size one, but after several mugglings, I had to convert it to a micro and move it to a different location in the park. It may be visible, but should appear unappealing to muggles if oriented properly. Make sure you replace it in that direction. Update 10/31/09 The cache seems to have gone missing. The previous coordinates were N 37° 14.623 W 121° 45.495. It might still be there, but someone might have moved it. In the meantime, I put a replacement cache a short distance away. It's even smaller. Bring a pen. Update 3/22/17 The cache was muggled. I put a different type of cache a short distance away. It has a pencil. Update 1/30/19 The cache may have been muggled. I replaced it with the same type of container. I'm not sure it's in the same place as before, but it's the same type of hide. It has a pencil. It is visible from the trail.
