Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates!

You may be aware that the QD in QDman stands for questioned documents. I thought I'd put out a series of caches based on the type of work I do on a day to day basis as a forensic document examiner.

Probably 85 to 90% of the work done by a forensic document examiner involves handwriting comparison. That includes cursive writing, handprinting, and numerals. We're able to do this because everyone's writing is different, just as everyone's fingerprints are different.

Whether we're looking at a forged check, a bank robbery demand note, or a letter from a kidnapper, determining the author of the document can help the investigator find the right suspect and the District Attorney's Office with a successful prosecution.

It can also prove the innocence of a falsely accused individual, which, if you think about it, is even more important.

Now it's your turn. We've found some scraps of paper at a crime scene. They appear to be a set of coordinates, but some of the numbers are missing.

Below that are four samples of writing. Each sample bears the writing of multiple individuals. One number in each group was written by the same person who wrote the coordinates. Find that number and put it in its designated place to find the coordinates of the cache, which is in a small ammo box.

Have fun, and remember, I get paid to do this kind of stuff. ;-)
