Geocache Description:

Some times you have to decide just who you are going to believe. There is a no trespassing sign within feet of a clean up from your dog sign.

For the longest time the only way into this section of the creek was to ford at one of the places where a small creek joins the main creek. During the rainy season this was not only unpleasant, but down right dangerous. This gate was locked, fenced, and down right formidable.
Well now, they have opened a foot path. But they left the no trespassing sign. The rational I was given is that it prohibits motor vehicles.
There is parking on the road nearby, but be careful of the traffic. The entry is accessible to most wheelchairs, but if yours is unusually wide or if it is muddy you might want to rethink. Once thru the gate it opens to a wide, packed gravel access.
Make sure to take the time to walk about 200' up the trail to see a magnificent Oak.
