Geocache Description:

See Archived Cache details of the orginal cache locations ( BLT & BLT #2) to obtain history of the cache movements. New spot located between Hwy 102 and hwy 3 & Hammond Plains Rd. Cache can be accessed from either point.

With almost 70 visitors to the original BLT cache location and 28 to BLT #2 I'm continuing to change the cache location every so often to enable cachers to experience the many trails of the Beechville Lakeside and Timberlea area. All future movements of the cache will be identified with the BLT # (2,3,4,5 etc). This is the second move of BLT. Cache contains the orignial log book from the previous BLT & BLT #2 locations & is still in it's original large birdseed container.
Here's a March 2007 post from dragonfly that makes me want to continue to be involved with Geocaching:

"I have done all 3 incarnations of BLT, each seems to be kicked up a notch. It is fun to review old logs of cachers that have come and gone as well as my own.
I can't imagine where you go from here. It was an awesome place to sit and think about things and how geocaching has effected my life." - Such nice words I'd thought I'd add them permanently to this series.

Cache has been restocked origianlly with the followng items:
- carpenters pencils
- Paint bruch set
- wire bruch set
- screwdriver set
- utility straps
- Stickers
- Dragonfly
- Emergency bathroom tissue
- Pack of speed ties
- emergency blanket
- Tie down ratchet straps
- 33' of poly rope
- Magnetic letter/# set
- Stuffed Bunny
- beanie baby dog
- Bungie cord set
- Pin
- small flashlight

I'd encourage past and future visitors to the cache to first explore the attached related web site: " Chebucto Peninsula Trails Plan" at (visit link) for some background on the trails and the future vision.

If you visit when Temps are above 0 and would like to explore onto the ilsands of Crane Lake , you'll need to bring along 2 12"x12" plywood patches, small nails and some adhesive/sealant and you could check out the island by fixing the green punt.
