Joc's Playground...commonly know as "The Red Rocks" was, and still is, a favorite of children and adults of the surrounding area. Anyone who has grown up in the area, as Joc' has, have many memories and stories of bonfires, picnics, and hours spent catching "tansies" and crabs in the numerous tidepools.
The area is part of a more extensive trail system that travels along the shoreline, offering places, where at low tide, the wonders of the sea can be discovered and examined. Finding this cache also offers you a nice vista of the surrounding area, as well as a nice place to sit and contemplate.
This place seems to have evolved much differently than the remainder of the shoreline, and the rocks' coloring seems a stark contrast to the background colors. Photographed during sunrise; or sunset, the terrain is truly something to be framed and displayed.
The cache is a red plastic Folgers Coffee container with a multi-color Geocaching.Com sticker affixed. It is situated for access in all seasons, and the whole adventure can take much less than an hour, for those who choose not to tarry long.
Your best approach would be to exit the main road to a side road at the Western Point Walking Trail sign, and drive to the end of the road to waypoint coordinates:

The road is usually plowed in winter; but don't count on it being cleared all the time.
Please try and be somewhat covert; as the area is quite popular at times.
!!Safety note!! The cache is not hidden anywhere near the immediate vicinity of the cliffs nor the shoreline. Venturing irresponsibly, too near either, could reward you with a cold, wet, (and possibly dead) experience. Don't become a casket case!!
SPECIAL NOTE! There has been some land development ongoing en-route to the cache, suggesting one may have to access private property. This is NOT SO. There is a well defined route to the cache adjacent to this development, and this route is situated on public property and freely accessible at any time. Cache on!
