A multifaceted, enjoyable walk through an intriguing range of sites with monolithic glacial boulders. Well-designed and easily walked, this varied trail winds through a forest with a broad range of fascinating sites for its relatively small acreage. The forest was donated to the state in 1980 by Elizabeth Yates McGreal, a prolific, well-known writer and resident of Peterborough for many years. The clearly marked trail was conceived for educational outings through inspiring woodland. It is a fine introduction for children to the variety of nature.
