Step 1: Obtain specific numbers from the murals to be used in a
sudoku puzzle
Mural 1 (obtaining letter A): The first location will take you
to a mural painted in the 90's by students from Pendleton High
School. From this painting, the number of people without a horse
will be the letter A.
Mural 2 (obtaining letter B): Use this location (N 45 40 398 W
118 47 323) to view the second mural, and count the number of
people you find in this painting. Let this be the letter B.
Mural 3 (obtaining the letters C, D): Use this location (N 45 40
437 W 118 47 278) to view a plaque located near this third mural,
and find the year a garage/service station was opened as a dodge
dealership at this site. Let this be the letters 19CD.
Mural 4: (obtaining the letters E, F, G): Use this location (N45
40 231 W118 47 182) to view the fourth mural, and determine the
year the building was purchased. Let this be the letters EFFG.
Mural 5: (obtaining the letters H, I, J): Due to a fire that
burned down this fifth mural, I'm searching for another mural as a
replacement.
This mural displayed Journals from Lewis and Clark. Until I find an
alternate mural, please use this website which takes you to part of
the Lewis and Clark Journals in order to determine the date
"Yellept furnished us with two canoes", as written in the journal.
