This cache leads you to a historic location, at least in sport fishing.
Dr. W. P. Gibbons in 1855 named a very well known fish species that was found in this creek and a monument to his work is located at this cache site. If you enjoy fishing, this place will probably feel like a very famous location, it sure does to me. This location and cache is very easy to get to but on weekends in the summer there will be a small fee to enter. It is in a beautiful park, so while you're there at least take the wonderful walk on the paved trail along the creek.
Bring your own pen because this micro will not hold one.
Cache has been modified as staged due to its loss several times from local area maintenance.
