The Old Thompson Street Historic Walking Path
2nd Parish circa 1700
This old cart road was used by the Parish settlers from the late 1600's to the middle 1800's. While on your walk to the cache you will see a very old cemetery on your left hand side of the path. If you are into history, the gravestones tell an interesting story. The only reason the terrain is rated 2 is due to a small climb in one part.
The container is a small cylinder type container with the green geocaching label. The contents are your usual variety but since the container is not very large, the trade items should be small. Hope you enjoy your introduction to this less traveled part of Gloucester.
