Geocache Description:

This 3 part multi-cache is another in a series along the Westboro Charm Bracelet.

Park at the end of Carroll Drive which is here: N42 14.550 W071 38.733. There is parking on Adams Street, but it is very narrow and not recommended. Trust me on this one. Parking any where else probably involves crossing private property.

Plan on a couple of hours for this one. It will be a 2+ mile hike round trip and finding parts 1 and 2 could take some time. Parts 1 and 2 are mini-cache size containers and just hold the coordinates for the next part. Please don't put trade items in these. The final is a large rubber maid type container. Please be sure to put each part back the way you found it.

The Westborough Charm Bracelet is a planned network of trails throughout the town of Westborough, Massachusetts. The network will consist of three major pieces:

Ø A roughly 28-mile loop trail around the community to connect most of the major open space areas within the town

Ø A network of side trails to interconnect every open space, recreation area, school, and neighborhood

Ø A set of trails to link Westborough to all the surrounding communities

Here is the website for this section of the Charm Bracelet (visit link)

The area you will be hiking is actually two pieces of public property. If you parked on Carroll Drive then you enter on the Charm Bracelet Trail into the Wile Forest which is owned by the New England Forestry Foundation (visit link) You will will also be hiking in the Libbey Property which is owned by the Town of Westborough. Together these two pieces of property are about 200 acres.

This cache is rated a 2 for difficulity because you will could spend a little time looking for the first 2 parts. Terrain is a 2.5 only because of the distance. The trails are well marked and generally clear.

Here are a couple of hints. Try not to use the other hints if you can help it.

1. No cache part is in any stone wall
2. Each part is no more that 50-60 yards off a main trail.

I recommend that you print a copy of the trail map to bring with you. You will find the map on the charm bracelet site (visit link)

The location of the trail is not 100% accurate since some of the trail has been relocated around some wet spots, but it will give you a general idea of the trails on the property. All the trails are marked with plastic blazes.
