The Dahl Sanctuary is on the east side of the Saco River and includes 54 acres with 1800 feet of unspoiled shoreline on the Saco River.
No pets are allowed in this Audubon Sanctuary. There are two trails on the property. One goes to the river and the site of another cache, The Saco River Travel Bug Hotel. The other trail follows the height of land through a mixed forest. The winter friendly micro cache, smaller than a 35mm film canister, is located just off the upper trail.
